her aesthetics really belongs to the nineties... where people, besides coming back of minimalism with calvin klein and porn-chic with tom ford, really needs this come back to the nature and simple things, ancient things but kind of vintage and destroyed because in her photos it seems there's no hope for the future of humanity... (that's a personal opinion... really personnal!!!!) after the really powerful-fame of the eighties...where we always wanted sthg new, sthg exciting, more $$ etc. and so much individuality
But this aesthétics is, imo, sthg really influenced by the 70s with a touch of the social contxt of the 90s...
And i think this is what we need now!!!!!... something influenced by Corinne Day... I think we can observe that coming back (agaiiiiin) of the néo-baba-hippie-woodstock in us contemporary art...
I think there are few photog' influenced (or not) by her aesthetic nowadays in fashion... but we don't see them as much as we used to see her... so that's why I want a REAL come back of her.... or some of her student...

These are my scans from The Face 199? possibly 96/97
Love the last one. It's so evocative of the 90s for me...

Nice. There is something very "art student" about them - perhaps the awkwardness of the rawness of the photographs. However, this is what makes the pictures what they are. I like.
