Yep, there are some interesting things to know a little bit more about Emmanuelle Alt.
Once, somebody asked about her age : she's 42.

Her father was an acrobatic dancer, choreagrapher and composer. As FrenchCactus said, he worked with Gainsbourg in the mid 50's.

I'm too also hesitant about Emmanuelle at the reigns at VP - her editorials have been so predictable for the past few months - same models, same photographers, same looks - can she really steer VP into a new interesting direction? Judging by the confirmation of her first cover - a reosunding NO! She should be making a statement with this opportunity, declaring how she envisions new VP.

I don't think we'll really see her first issue until in a few months time, i feel Gisele was already picked for the cover before Carine left, if you guys remember we saw candids from that shoot back in november, so i think we should wait and see.
Didn't Cathy Horyn say her first solo issue wouldn't be until may or something ?

^I read somewhere that Carine said that the whole of spring/summer 2011 is already scheduled... so that means that what emmanuelle does now (fall/winter 2011) will be "completely" carine-free.
