Jan Welters is a Dutch photographer. Since leaving Holland in 1983, he has travelled extensively basing himself in both Milan and New York and shooting for some of the world's leading publications. In 1995, he chose Paris as his home and has been living there ever since. While he is best known for his work in the fashion industry, Jan also shoots music and portraits and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in across Europe and in the States.
Casta picture is just terrible! luv it. and most of time i don't like her. (she's boring!) this portrait is soo cliché. i'm loving it! messy hairs, la tour Eiffel, shoulders,no make up face, levé(couché?) du soleil blabla.
I still have zero information regarding stylists, makeup, etc.
very nice, mullet, thanks for sharing! i love how he keeps everything so simple and yet the compositions are so striking. and it feeds my love for silhouettes, of course. the first image in post #8 is especially beautiful
Thank you for posting! I like the way he uses shadows and the contrast of light and shadows. He makes very good work in those black and white photos. There's a feeling of tranquility in these photographs.
