i like them a lot! they remind me of rineke dijkstra's work as well, but i find her work more "raw" they are so very stripped down of anything except the very subject she is photographing..usually taken on the beach, or in a clearing...these have other information in them which is also captivating..a totally different feeling for me. these though are very much more...full to me, or something..they are warm and inviting.

i think i can see the connection but i gather a sense of embaressment/akwardness from dijkstra's work and i feel is less incorporated here. something about them strikes me as very 'saturated', i don't know if that makes sense...

i really like the couple of shots in post numero 3, I´m not very fond of the first two sets..i dont really know why, it looks a bit plain but having read that it was for Nylon, i think it´s understandable, they seem to advice the photographers to take the most uninspiring ID-looking photos.
