Kate Lanphear - Style Director, US Elle (January 2008 - April 2010)

I was astonished when I couldn't find an existing thread dedicated to Kate Lanphear, the super chic senior style editor at US Elle so I thought I should start one! If there IS one already then mods, please delete this one and ignore my inability to see properly!

I love her style...I've noticed her before but just never knew who she was and now I do! She's super simple and stylish yet manages to look really cool all the time without looking like she gives a damn. Which to me is the best kind of attitude ever when it comes to dressing oneself!

I don't know how to post pics yet but I'll give it a try...so those of you who have pics of her, please share! In the mean time bear with me...

i've been around for quite a while but just laying low!

i haven't been able to find many pics of her online but i do have tons of pics of her from mags...i'll scan them as soon as i have time and access to a scanner!

and yes i was extremely surprised there wasn't already a thread dedicated to her... yet theres threads for random and imo style-less people...won't say who..

Im surprised there isnt more on her! Even Carine Roitfeld's assistant already has one going for her! here are some pics i found of her.

i am wondering how long her hair has been that way because i never saw her before and then suddenly i see her everywhere...but mostly it's because you can't miss her hair!!!

yes i love her hair too! is it...naturally that blonde? it must be such a btch to maintain. i love how she never looks overdone or trying hard at all.

She is effortless. A bit trendy, but lovely nonetheless. I especially love the looks with baggy trousers.
