Karma mariemaud! I love seeing Marie-Amelie's work from magazines other than Vogue Paris. It's interesting to note how different her work changes with different photographers and creative team

Her work sort of annoys me...if there is any story being told it is too existential for me to get. I mean, I love the clothes and the photography, but the context is too literal for me to fall in love with. Someone mentioned shape. I see that, obviously. One shoot was titled, "Action"...uh huh...it just seems so sparse and not in an allegorical way. She is just too much of a purist for me. I think that fashion has more of a mass appeal (and Lord knows I wish more people would appreciate it) if the industry gives it a palpable context, a story, an illusion, an escape...but something meaty that the viewer can really sink their teeth into. Her work just doesn't have that for me.

oh can someone explain to me how to pronounce her last name?
it's kind of surprising there's not much editorials in this thread. i suppose she's doing much much more, no?
and what about her collaboration with balenciaga? is she just a consultant and/or a stylist or...?
