Mark Wimberly & Radek Grosman - Photographers
I've seen a bunch of their work on the dna site and I adore it!

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find more images/information about this photographing team...

thanks

I think theyre work is quite beautiful too, lots of flashy objects like sequins. Although their work seems very reflective of Mert and Marcus theyre not bad.

I dont think they do any other photography in magazines or ad campaigns. I think theyre main duty is to make portfolios for new models, I guess there could be alot of money in that. They simply photograph new models, all in the rather same format, get paid and thats how they make their living. Just an assumption.

uh oh thats not good, i know one of our model members has shot with them, but its probaly better for them not to say anything/comment on this.

Who knows, it could be made up for all we know.

Hmmmm I have tested with them and just now read that article. I can vouch for their arguing all the time

What is different about them is that hey don't use any professional cameras or lights at all. They shoot in one of their apartments and use old 35mm film cameras. Their lighting is simply a light on a pole and they use an umbrella over it to sometimes change the lighting. I agree they are talented but a little strange

a test shoot with them is $500

$500 isnt bad for the images you get though! ...I know modemodels in Calgary, theyre test shoot sessions are about 350. for 150 more you get much better shots
For 500 dollars, a place in an apartment and a pole with a light on it, I think I just may need to start my own test business.

i am with new york model management and nathalie paris.

i'm not complaining about their price, since its the cost of rent for 1/2 of a month.. they have to make a living too. they have their own style and know how to work with it and it's definitely benefiting them.

it was actually about $565... or something around there. i will have to look at my agency account.

I like this, but it seems quite repetitive.
