i love them! their photography is consistently glamourous and shiny-surfaced, but it still conserves an edge and subversiness i quite like... their best work to date, in my opinion, is that guinevere editorial in w... classic

I love Kate editorial! It's one of the most glamourous things I've seen lately.
The 15th pic, the one that seems silver, it's gorgeous!

^ I agree. A lot of their b+w work is fascinating and that ed is gorgeous! I like some of there color eds as well, but sometimes there's too much airbrushing for my taste. I definitely think they're in the "ones to watch" category.

I must admit, even though a lot of there stuff is very airbrushed it still appeals to me. It's just enough fantasy to keep it interesting.

I love Mert And Marcus because their work is varied. They have a definate style, but I never really consider it predictable like some other photogs.

i like their work because it focuses on the clothes and because it is polished..
even when it's raw...the edges are polished...this elevates the work imo....

if anyone can find the 'shipwrecked story' they shot a while back with kate moss and post it...i would really appreciate it...it's one of my faves of all time...

thx...

Softgrey, someone posted the Kate Moss Castaway editorial on the first page, or a link to it anyway.
