Apparently they're very close friends. How do you know that she copies Miroslava and not the other way around? Or perhaps it's also mutual? Miroslava was blessed with betterlooking "genes" I guess, but that doesn't automatically make her the trendsetter, she just pulls it off better.

I imagine if their outfits were switched, it would still have some people thinking the other girl was the one who "copied", unfortunately...

Yes I did think of that . But the date on pictures don't lie.

And my issue isn't that they both dress similar (that's usually the case for close friends) but its that I see no originality when the other girl styles the same pieces as Miroslava. But this is all just my opinion. I'm sure many feel the exact opposite. C'est la vie!

And yes I agree that even if it was the other way around people would still see it as the way I do now. Hence why girls with that "it" factor (beauty always helps) seem to be the ones who are in the spotlight.

pitty she always needs to emphasise how many goodies she has, 'cos she's really cute and she would do so much better if she would just "clean up" her style a bit... but she's young, so all the time in the world is in front of her...

It's in Russian (I will translate later, if anyone cares) but one of the Qs is wether or not the rumors of her replacing current editor-in-chief of Harper's Russia in the spring of 2009 are true. Her answer to that is that she has never heard of this and knows nothing about it. She also says that she is happy doing what she's been doing for the mag - covering special events (society, celebs, etc.).

Love 2shop : thank you! i would really love the Q&A in English if you had a spare moment to translate! i'm very interested in what she does...she seems to be everywhere but out of the blue? how is it? who is she married to..is it because she's so well connected that she's such an it girl?

she's very pretty. what i do like about her is that she's very different from the typical Russian girls I have seen/met ( a friend of mine went to Russia and said the women there were the most gorgeous he'd ever seen!)

her style is very hit-or-miss... i find myself either loving or cringing at her outfits. it's not a bad thing as I never know what to expect!
