" What should be done in the crisis? Big brands should continue to support the independent press, because that’s where the..(watermark I can’t read the text). Paradoxically it’s a good time for magazines and fashion. I would say to the big brands to stop scattering money everywhere. Don’t be afraid of spending where it should be spent and where the creation is alive, where there is desire, sexuality, artists, girls, ideas. It’s not even a question of rethinking but the question of being healthy and normal. It will be good for them and us. It’s an authentic exchange, the ‘redistribution of wealth’ (in a communist term.) If they redistribute well, they will be able to redistribute energy"

just found this thread. people are always calling him sleazy, which, in a way, he really is, but i've always found him very attractive. i'm glad i'm not the only one.

So, what is to be done? There is an urgency now to break out of the intense, chaotic, and superficial pathos of Great Mixture. The urgency of artistis rupture ot reinvent, reaffimr, and articulate whithin false relationships, pseudo-undergrounds, vague interactions. There will be no new art, worthy of its name, if it doesn't make this effort. It is an attempt at exodus, a social desertion, and an irrevocable rejection at a time when every aspect of society is today indisctinct from every artistic gesture.
