The woman is one of the most brilliant make-up artists I have ever seen work of. Her work always stands out from the rest I feel and her creative twist to everything makes everything look so beatiful. I love her...

Truly, this woman is amazing. She understands the face and is extremely creative in manipulating it as a canvas! Bravo!

Pat McGrath on Miu Miu
Quote:
"The Miu Miu girl has a very strong identity. She loves her black eye liner, she wears that eye liner whether it's in fashion or out of fashion. She's definite about her own style and she's very young and brave."

Pat McGrath on Gucci AUTUMN/WINTER READY-TO-WEAR MAKE UP
"Alessandra was obsessed with the color of a beetle, the blue-green iridescence. So we put a lovely, deep shadow underneath to make the eyes mysterious, and a really sheer amount of purple and blue-green around the outsides like beautiful wings."

STYLE.COM'S Fall 2005 RTW Wrap-up: Beauty
Pat McGrath on Hussein Chalayan fall 2005 makeup
"We have a very natural look. We're just taking away any redness, any spots, any imperfections, and we're just powdering the girls. So the look is very graphic in a way. But no makeup at all; it's all about skin care and beautiful skin texture."

Pat McGrath on John Galliano
"We have the black mouth from the thirties, the thin eyebrow. It's a very dramatic, very smoldering look. And then we're using Warhol behind the faces so that they almost look like living screen prints."

Pat McGrath on Louis Vuitton
"For Vuitton, we're doing eyebrows, we're doing eye shadow, we're doing lips, but it's all done transparently. It's a way of wearing almost full makeup, but keeping it absolutely modern. It's an extremely beautiful look."

Prada SS RTW 05

To honour the great Pat McGrath, who did the Adams Family themed makeup for Prada's Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2005 show!
