Pat Mcgrath Is The Best!!!!
I met Pat McGrath a few months ago at MAC Pro Store in NYC...not only is she incredibly talented she's extremely friendly, warm, humble and down-to-earth. What an honor meeting her! I will NEVER forget that experience and only pray that I get to work with her one day. She's definitely one, if not THE BEST, Makeup Artists in the world today!!!

I think she's the best and most influential ... she did, what, at least a third of the important Fall runway shows? Not only is her work great, but I appreciate how she articulates to the press what she's doing, since it's not all obvious. I too wish she would wear visible makeup, but clearly she has nothing to prove. Perhaps it's a statement about how good she is ... she has nothing to prove with her own face.
The current minimalist makeup look appears to me to be her vision ... |

 Backstage at Stella McCartney Fall 2004 (Source: style.com) with Vogue IT's Anna Piaggi The makeup Pat did on the girls were absolutely beautiful and I'm so glad to hear about MakUpDiva's encounter with Pat!!! She really does come across like that in the videos as well and hearing some supporting arguement from someone REAL, is just absolutely beautiful!!! Thank up, MakUpDiva!!!

The makeup she did for Prada's SS06 show was some of the most memorable, if not the most memorable, of the season--and further emphasized by the ad campaign, which I really like (even though I'm not a huge Sasha fan).
