I think her face is what I find the most unappealing about her. I don't think she helps it much by always having another unflattering expression on her face every time a camera flashes....

She does have some good style, but because of her exposure the her look has become too manufactured. Everything "her girls" wear now just looks too tryhard as far as im concerned.

I hold several of the same reservations that are expressed at the beginning of this thread.
1) I don't think that she works with women of any substance. 2) I don't see any originality in the styling. And certainly no individual looks. 3) She seems to be more of a personal shopper. There is very little "art" involved in flashing your credit card around various designers stores, then hitting the red carpet with your lollipop body, unnaturally pale hair, unnaturally pale skin and enormous "it" bag. 4) She appears to do one "look" well...incidentally this happens to be the same look she sports...and for now, this look is "hot" with impressionable young "stars" and their impressionable young fans. I can't see this woman getting anywhere with, say,Nicole Kidman,Cate Blanchett or Uma Thurman,to name a few. |

The women you name are much older than the girls Rachel Zoe dresses. Zoe is a young Hollywood stylist and I don't think she tries to be otherwise and I really don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's her specialty, I guess. And whatever she's doing, it's working. Her influence is everywhere in America, at least. And if all it takes to look like Zoe's girls is a flash of a credit card at a designer store, why do so many young stars get it all wrong? I think she deserves a little more credit than some give her credit for. If nothing else I applaud her for getting $5000/hr or whatever ridiculous price she charges for her services. |
