^The cast could be a big issue. Who does he like most these days? Arizona, Kristina, Freja, Daphne? Thanks but I would rather like to see him shooting with models like Edita Vilkeviciute and Cameron Russell who he shot for several campaigns before and who actually do sexy best. I'm sure we will find out about the cast soon anyway.

I'm just not sure if this is confirmed because googling I found no ther article and fashion copius seems to be a normal blog? If anyone comes across with a confirmation I'll pee in my pants.

OMG! It's a dream come true if he'll shoot it.

It's about time actually for him to shoot the calendar. On to the cast, I'd rather see his all time favorites than these new ones IMO.

Just one of the many reasons 90s greats like Amber, Shalom, Helena, Kristen etc totally ruled on and off the runway: their pioneering hi-lo fashion mentality and the way they embraced and valued 'vintage' and second hand clothing, long before it become trendy and just another buzzword.

hahahah so funny in 2002 Pirelli offered to make a calendar to Meisel but this say NO so strange now say yes i think

For me, the news of Meisel for Pirelli felt like it was fifteen years too late, I would have been looking at the modern girls in the calendar and thinking, "you're nice, but you're just not Christy Turlington..." or any of the women with whom he created unforgettable magic.

Meisel doing Pirelli would mean using the supers and there are no supers today. It would mean Amber and Shalom, Christy and Cindy, Kristen and many others. Just not today's girls.

Kristen does not look old at all, but to pair her with those half(or completely) naked boys is kinda strange...I do not see the idea behind this editorial, I was ready to leave a "wow" comment, but I just see a bunch of out of place images of Kristen in ugly hotel rooms wearing almost nothing and posing with kids...who seem very misoriented...one of the images(kristen sitting on a bed with a boy) reminded me of an old 1992 image of Kristen and Nadja sitting next to each other...which was of course much better. I do not know what to think of this editorial. I love the cover, but the rest left me wondering if i like it or not.
