It took me a while to realize that so many photos I have been admiring turned out to be by the same fellow, Tim Walker.
Going back over these 37 pages has been thrilling and I thank all the posters! It was good to read that so many others, like me, love his interiors.
Where does he find these Fairy Tale houses? Wouldn't you love to be his location scout?
I'd have trouble deciding which I would want to live in (given the chance of course!).
Here is a spread I didn't see that I'd like to share.
I feel so lucky to have bought his portfolio from Stern years ago. I think they are out of them now.
When I can get my hands on a larger scanner I'll post them for sure!

As I drooled across this thread's pages I found a couple of photos from this spread.
I'd like to show them all to you as they have the most amazing combination of Art Deco and Orientalist style about them.
It's an Art Deco masterpiece (1931-1944) in Morvi, India that seems the perfect venue for Tim Walker's work.
those interiors are FANTASTIC. seriously, why can't they shoot an editorial in a home like this instead of the usual bauhaus-modern-setting. thanks again dioramour
