@stilista: germany doesn't value their own photographers, they have to leave country in order to gain recognition. sad but true.
about sweden - they have a unique style no other country can offer, that's why they probably come out of the woodwork, as you put it. funny to imagine by the way
Sadly, I think that's true of most countries. They don't value you until you've been elsewhere, then they think you're worth knowing.
It is funny to think of people coming out of the woodwork or maybe quite horrible!!
never been a huge fan of his work, but i love his editorial featured on the april issue of vogue italia, it reminded me of good d.lynch movies..and i'm pretty sure he was inspired on that.

i know what you mean, i flipped through the magazine so many times and wasnt even paying attention to that ed but it was the murder-in-the-midwest mood what made me like it once i stared at it for a moment.
