Vogue US Under Anna Wintour: 1988 to Present
The TFS Vogue Paris thread is an absolutely amazing retrospective of high quality work produced by the Vogue Paris team. I love that thread so much I thought it would be interesting to see a similar one for US Vogue under the direction of Anna Wintour. A magazine that is at times controversial but still IMO produces quality editorials.
There are guidelines of course: 1. Only Editorials from US Vogue, natch 2. Please include the name of the editorial, the photographer, model or models & fashion editor as well as the date of the issue it was featured in. 3. Please post full editorials 4. Editorials should come from US Vogue contributers, including but not solely: - Anna Wintour - Andre Leon Talley - Grace Coddington - Camila Nickerson - Tonne Goodman - Elissa Santisi - Tabitha Simmons - Carine Roitfeld - Patrick Demarchelier - Mario Testino - Bruce Weber - Steven Meisel - Annie Liebowitz - Irving Penn - Craig McDean US Vogue has so many contributers I think it would be great it we could showcase something from all of them. Most importantly lets keep this thread free of complaining with regards to the magazine's current infatuation with celebrity culture / issues with the fluxuations in quality. I think we should just showcase the absolute best Vogue has to offer within this thread. Ok. Here we go.
