I remember seeing a video where he was styling and groping and conferring with his right-hand person wearing black framed glasses about all the clothes laid on the extensive floor, because he wanted to show the collection (which had already been shown in paris) differently in NY.

i had a feeling this was the case...but it's good to have it confirmed...
they all seem like very personal points of view...
so it isn't a surprise that they would not hand it over to someone from the 'outside'...

i love the idea that yohji would show his collection differently in two different cities...especially because it means so much extra work...
it shows his passion about what he does...



I'm guessing gaultier does his own styling as well......

what about YSL and Vuitton...anyone?...

jil sander is done by raf too

I believe that Camilla Nickerson has worked On YSL a lot. I am not sure about this last season. But I am sure about the seasons up through Winter.

yah- i confirmed it- she did YSL...
and the fall ADS too...

*you can totally tell she did the ads...

Stylists who style the Collections
I couldn't find a similar thread, but it always interests me as to who styles the collections, some are in house and some are freelance....

I know Katie Grand styles Louis Vuitton, Topshop Unique, Jonathan Saunders, Miu Miu and possibly Prada, Charlotte Stockdale styles Fendi and i do Believe Edward Enninful styles Dior ?

Emmanuelle also used to style for Isabel Marant, Balmain and Gucci.

Does anyone know any others ?

Marie Amelie-Sauve styles Balenciaga.

doesn't Lucinda Chambers style Marni ?

Melanie Ward now styles for Balmain.

I know Anastasia Barbieri used to for Emanuel Ungaro, but i think Katie Grand now does it, or did whilst Giles was there as Katie also styles for Giles, for free as a favor to him.

I think Mélanie Utzmann Kuynh styles for Altuzarra ?

Tabitha Simmons styles for Dolce and Gabbana.

Panos Yiapanis doesn't he style for Givenchy ?

^She indeed used to style for McQueen but Camilla has been styling for them since 2007.
