Lauren Conrad and Allure are a good mix, and the mood is nice - but the face ain't great and the words are obscuring her hair. If the magazine is in the business of selling beauty, it needs to shine through on the cover.

I love the cover! I think she certainly looks "alluring" and its a nice change from the typical smiling California girl covers most magazines like to do with her. I wish they had shot her after she went brunette though.
I don't mind seeing Lauren on covers because I feel like there is still some mystery to her life now that she's off reality tv. She also has more relevancy in the fashion world as someone funding her own label (Paper Crown). Kim K is still on tabloid covers every week so I don't get the point of putting her on an Allure cover so she can talk --AGAIN-- about how she loves her curves, has cellulite...etc.
