This spring, Michelle Williams, star of Oz the Great and Powerful, features on the cover of AnOther Magazine and transforms into eight imaginary characters, shot by Willy Vanderperre with styling from Olivier Rizzo.

Inspired by the issue's theme of There's No Place Like Home, Williams gives a revealing and candid interview to Nancy Waters in New York, leading us on a journey through her unusual past homes, from childhood onwards. Since her youthful stint in Dawson’s Creek, three-times Oscar-nominated Williams has illuminated the best of independent cinema with leading roles in My Week With Marilyn, Blue Valentine and Brokeback Mountain, securing her position as one of her generation’s most sensitive and subtle actresses. And this March she shines as never before, as Glinda the Good Witch in Sam Raimi’s all-star prequel to the classic film The Wizard of Oz.

An exclusive film with Michelle Williams will premiere on anothermag.com this Wednesday.

The spring/summer issue of AnOther Magazine is out on February 14.

Hmmm...

The 'eight imaginary characters' sounds intriguing though, as does that interview.

This is an actress I completely loath but this is amazing.
I love how Vanderperre effortless and classic photography feautures with Rizzo´s surprising style mixing chic elements (hat) with a very american wardrobe.

Boring actress and cover. Was really expecting more from Vanderperre.

I was worried her shoot would be 60's mod-themed with Louis Vuitton checkers on the cover. Her edit sounds very interesting.

Apart from the weird toes, I love this. So simple but beautiful.

This is wonderful, i love the contradiction between the made up face & hair with fancy hat, and the casual styling, she just has that something in order to pull it off.

normally i would be appalled with a cover such as this, especially since i've always found Michelle Williams to be dreadfully bland; but regardless of how contrived this looks like there's something deceptively eye catching about it. it definitely does its job of making me anticipate the contents
