Art-Inspired Editorials / Photographs that Look Like Paintings
I thought this might be interesting :
Post pics of models in editorials or ads, etc. that resemble a painting in some way, or that remind you of paintings

For example, this pic of Julia Stegner in Numero reminds me of Waterhouse's painting, "The Lady of Shalott"

there was that kate moss spread for ysl, it was a series of photos that were imitating famous portraits. i'll find it later when i have time to sift through the thousands of my pictures on my comp, haha.

This comparison doesn't work quite so well as the others, but the two always remind me of each other. The similar frankness of expression, the similar poses, the similar gestures, the way hair is pinned up, etc

I know what you mean - I keep thinking about similarities between pics I see and paintings, and when I saw the pic of Gemma with the tears I decided to make the topic
