i was just talking about that in her thread... she got 2 campaigns with meisel this season, a VI cover would be more than appropriate now.

Yes but that was in October, my guess is that it will be for the February or March issue.

McNeil has shot to the top of the international modelling scene over the past year. She has far more pressing matters to address than gossip about her personal life, such as landing what would be her biggest career coup yet: the cover of US Vogue.
McNeil spent last week in Los Angeles shooting a 12-page spread with the photographer Mario Testino, featuring the hot US actor Jon Hamm. The shoot will be in the December issue of US Vogue and McNeil is shaping up as a major contender to grace the cover.

i bet she doesnt have the cover that would be totally random what would the cluelesspeople who love celebrities say if it was just catherine mcneil chilling on the cover.... oh who is that actress i dont know her? not that i wouldnt love it

I remember a while ago, Cat's agent was doing a very good job of talking her up, saying she was solidly booked for the next two years etc - so as another piece of positive PR, it doesn't do her profile any harm, to have her associated with the idea of a US Vogue cover, even if it never comes to pass.

I imagine a lot of media outlets may have no idea how unlikely it is to have a model on the cover of US Vogue, but it's a rumour that keeps her name in the headlines.

But I would love it, especially if the model-actor pairing has chemistry. I know Conde Nast has a reputation for not being keen on beefcake in women's fashion, but I like seeing handsome men accompanying beautiful models, so I like these 'double act' editorials that US Vogue produces. The only one that misfired for me was the recent Gisele-LeBron James one, because the cover shot was poorly chosen.
