The concept of the VP editorial in the CNN preview does nothing for me

^ Your too good!

In UK Vogue April there is an ad for a new magazine, which launches 02-04-09. Called 'WIRED'
Has this already been discussed?

It's the UK version of the US Wired. You would think that the best place to show and discuss ideas about computers, technology and the future would be via the internet, but here comes something deeply rooted in paper and no doubt, lavishly designed. So good luck to them, there's something so gloriously perverse about the concept that I wish them well. If nothing else, it will give people jobs for as long as things last. Can a magazine like this prove there's life in paper yet? It will be very interesting to see.

The US version has been around for at least 10 years. I find it interesting they're starting up more versions now. They just started an Italian version as well. We'll see how long they all last.

Magazine Death Pool is a good website

Was there not a Wired UK - well over 10 years ago - that died a death? Because I remember the company I worked for at the time, we used to buy two versions of it.

It's been years since I read an issue of the US version, I've long since turned to the net for news, views, reviews and writing of the sort it carries. Really, the only thing I like about Wired are the layouts, rather than the content, but even then, I often feel it's design for design's sake, bankrolled by Conde Nast, for beard-scratching graphic designers (or whatever they care to scratch) and others of that ilk.

US Vogue/US Bazaar March 2009 - Did anyone else in the UK see their copies of both magazines increase in price? My US Vogue had a sticker on it saying £5.00, and my Bazaar said £4.20, though it scanned at the old price of £3.80 at the till.

Vogue Paris April 2009 : Scarlett Johansson by ?
Been watching CNN, and there was a segment called Fashionably Worried, about the effects of the recession on the industry. Anyway they showed some clips from Carine's Revelaed, and at some point with her team in an office she hold up a new cover or a version of it, not sure if its April 100%, but i would think so.Anyway if it turns out not to be the cover in question the real one can be added when released, in the meantime we can speculate about this image, and bitch away since its a celeb, but of course.:p

Debating fonts, and one more image,

(All Images extracted by me from Cnn.com videos)

Thanks Miss Dalloway!
I think it's got a better shot at being the May cover since VP's May issues have been "Cannes" issues for a few years now

Great eye Miss Dalloway!
The covers so far seem to be really dissapointing. And yes, I'll be the first to bitch about Scarlett. Go away!
It is probably the May issue since those are usually the celebrity ones
