^ What was the advice, it might work for me.
Sometimes I set myself up for the absolute WORST. Then I get surprised with somethign good. Could imagine if the cover was not even models, but instead Kirsten Dunst! LOL
I'm betting you know a great deal that we don't! Spill
You know (and I feel bad in advance for directing this at you as it really intended to resonate with many more posters in this thread), it's comments like that which discourage people with information from sharing in the first place. I don't know how many times I've said this, but: people who want to share will say what they can, when they can.
I'm not sure it's intended to be unappreciative of the information that can be released, but it certainly comes across that way. Now this is completely removed from my position as a moderator, but I think that telling someone to "spill," or complaining about why people are withholding information (which has been done in the past), is quite rude. Just remember, no one is at all obligated to say anything in the first place, and I think people should be content with the information they do receive.
I didn't mean for my comment to come off that way.
I could care less what or what not people share, I have enough information to let my imagination soar
But I also think that when members say. "I know something you don't..!"
And explain later that they can't share it, why bother saying anything in the first place.
I just don't see the logic in that.
^I know an instance exactly like you described did occur in this thread recently, but in most other cases they aren't meant to be taken as taunts. For example, I believe that I've only said something re: May cover to confirm/deny appearances -- the only reasons to do so are to not let incorrect information filter too far beyond this thread and 1) Let too much false hope build up and 2) Weaken TFS' own credibility as an information source
Look, I feel as if it's nature for people who receive a little information, to want a little bit more, and a little bit more. A natural curiosity is human! I just think the ways that people go about it from time to time is a bit unsavory.
That being said, let us keep this thread focused and on-topic, and enjoy the information that can be shared (even if it's to correct misconceptions).
And I apologize again for any inappropriate behavior I have had towards information.
I suppose my excitement for the issue could not be contained, and thank you Faith for always confirming, and denying rumors. Even thought it is a rumor thread, it's always filled with facts that members can rely on. Sorry again!
