you know to settle this whole thing... fashion week starts in a few months and way before september so the girl who dyes their hair black obviously has the cover!!!! its that easy... OMG im so smart!

It's not that easy. The cover was shot months in advance, so the model could have turned to her natural colour again and besides it was said that the colour change was only for the cover shoot.

what i'm excited about right now is the Aug. issue of US Vogue. i mean, who will grace the cover that's really confirmed?

Would it make sence that Doutzen will be on the VP cover because L'oreal is celebrating their 10th anniversary, and Doutzen is spokesperson for them...? VP is pretty loyal to L'oreal, right?! Just a though.. (Or mabey I'm just trying to keep my hopes up :P )

if it was just a wig then why would they make a big deal out of it.... it wouldnt be that radical too since it was only for the cover and thats what they usually do

I mean, MANY past VP issues have at least one Daria by I&V edit inside, why not do one whole issue full of them? Not that I'm ecstatic. The "luscious beauty" undergoing a "sinister" makeover sounds like Lara to me, even if I would KILL for Adriana to be on the cover looking like she did in the Givenchy ads. Lara hasn't been in the magazine for a while and she is THE luscious beauty of fashion. Simply dying her hair black sounds a little bland to me though, and like a bad idea. This may be detrimental to her modeling career. Her blonde hair is a MAJOR part of her image. And I'm not sure how she will look with darker locks. I think Adriana's Givenchy makeover was much more shocking and very sinister indeed. But if she appeared on the cover looking exactly the same, that would be a little anti-climactic and uninspired. Here's hoping that she has an edit inside though, since she shot in Paris recently! Ever since she popped up on the Givenchy runway, I have hoped to see her in or on VP, especially after her gorgeous, hilarious editorial in the November 2008 issue. Whoever makes the cover, I hope it is by M&M, as they do edgy and eerie quite well!


The Tao rumours also sound GREAT! Carine has needed to put another Asian on the cover and I'm so happy she finally is. And if she is WITH Sessilee, that would be doubly amazing. Two ethnic beauties on one cover. Maybe it will be for October? There are too many rumours for both the August and September issues, and this sounds like too much of a fabulous idea to only be an edit.

There were also rumours that Iris was shooting a cover of VP. Funny how VP went from being very secretive to all of the sudden FLOODING the market with tid-bits! Just makes me even more excited for the future!!!

see so she did dye her hair so that means shes sporting real black hair and why would they say she did a makeover if it were only for the cover... coco rochas makeover was not just for an ed......see!!!!

I think your forgetting that it is actually only for a magazine cover. I think if she did dye her hair for a dramatic change. Then wouldn't pictures of been posted in her thread?

We happened to see runway pictures. Her agencies were not saying much about the cut, if i remember right, until fairly close to the release date
