All the discussion and speeculation the last couple of pages only proves one thing: anything is possible and nothing is certain until the finished result comes out.

I think it has been pretty much confirmed that Lara will be on the cover of the September issue of Vogue Paris. And I am pretty much sure the rumor said she dyed her hair. But it was only for the issue, so we won't be getting an early clues when fashion week starts in September.

The L'Oreal 10th anniversary could be a reason for Doutzen to get the cover. But why would she dye her hair if she was promoting the brand? Wouldn't they want her to appear as she does in the ads? And to look recognizable?


The two multi-model I&V edits raise a couple of questions, especially if the entire August issue features Daria and Daria only. I wonder if these two edits are for September? If that is the case, then September will be a pretty big issue, taking into account that Lara (or whoever else it will be) will probably have her own edit as well.

Okay, if Lara appears the same way she did in the DSquared campaign cat-eyes and all, except with black hair, on the VP cover, then I may die and go to heaven. I hope M&M shoot the cover. I want it to be goth glamourous. And M&M do dark glamour like no one else.

I'm keeping an open mind, I like the idea of Lara, but I also think we can convince ourselves of the reality of something by repetition of the idea, so I'm going to suspend my expectations of the September issue, in case what we're convinced about doesn't come true.
