I really hope they do something good with her. When she's shot well, I really like Cara and think she could be a really good thing for British Vogue. She's certainly more youthful than they usually do.

There was a rumour that it was possibly Rooney Mara.

I think it probably will be. She has Side Effects coming out and that person was right about the other cover girls and if The Great Gatsby hadn't been pushed back, the months would be right, too. Interesting that Mulligan was originally going to be the December cover girl. I wonder if they actually shot anything. I guess she definitely has the May 2013 cover locked up.

Well i cant wait to see that thread, oh wait, it will be more of the same. But honestly, February is the American issue right? So i can see her being a choice. I like Kate, but not sure i want her on the cover of US Vogue as well, and so soon after UK one!

i will be happy for Kate, she's stunning. If this is true the girl is on her way to become the new supermodel, i mean Vogue Italia, UK and US in few months is IMPRESSIVE.

I hope Kate covers US Vogue February Issue... It would be great. Not to mention that Meisel hasn't got a cover for a long while.

I kind of find it hard to believe that she would get a cover alone for February, since it's the American issue I have to wonder if it might also include other American models like Karlie Kloss and Arizona Muse. I can definitely see that cover happening, but who knows.

yeah I wouldn't mind a MG cover. kate n Karlie n maybe Joan/Arizona

I think putting Kate Upton on the cover would be great, though. More Americans know of her than the three other girls.

I have been hoping she would never get an US Vogue cover, but unfortunately the odds are stacking up in her favor, and being that February is the American issue I can see this happening.
I just find her underwhelming as a model. The other girls mentioned (Karlie, Arizona, and Joan) would make more deserving cover stars.

No matter how "deserving" we think Karlie, Joan, and Arizona are, I think Kate would be much better for sales. I'd be pleased with either/or.
