^Or perhaps, because tFS members are fashion-forward people, a) are sick of seeing Kate over and over again bringing nothing new, b) know very well that there are models who can bring it better than she can. I understand she sells well in the UK, but do French people buy VP when she's had like 3 covers in a few months? Of course the people that hire her are a big part of the problem but I can't say she's trying too hard to actually model. Thus, people's frustration when they hear she has another ton of covers coming out.

Ugh god, the Kate discussion again... she's clearly shifting magazines off the stands and everyone loves working with her... so... and I can't complain, mainly looking forward to V and VP.

I'm really looking forward for her covers. I hope she will get Vogue Paris March cover. For me Kate is iconic Vogue Paris girl....

What other model "brings it" more than freaking Kate Moss?

I don't have any problems with Kate gracing the covers of those magazines to be honest. In fact, I'm excited. Anything with Kate, I'll always look forward to it.

There are a lot of models who can "bring it" better than Kate. Also, i doubt people would buy a cover especially for her (well maybe in the UK). But on half of the other cover she's just another model. She's been omnipresent lately and that only adds to our frustration. She does look good in almost everything she does though. I just wish I could be excited again by seeing Kate.

I don't know, I think Kate can still be good in editorials by photographers with... I don't know, stronger "ideas" or whatever? She was pretty strong in the W March 2012 Steven Klein editorial and even the June 2012 UK Vogue one by Mert & Marcus. When someone like Demarchelier or Testino shoots her she looks half dead, IMO.

For me, Kate Moss represents the best and the worst of fashion imagery at the moment; a woman with decades of experience and close relationships with so many people within the industry, yet she's also someone who now never appears on the printed page without having been airbrushed into a flat cartoon of herself, a form of dull artifice which leaves me absolutely cold, and which does not improve with constant repetition.

I think Mila's cover and the edit for VP is a testament why fashion editors should avoid cliche model choices and push their creativity and enthusiasm. I personally have nothing against Kate Moss as a person, I stopped caring about Vogue UK long time ago but I think it is almost offensive that this girl grabs everything when there are so many talented models around... What does she have to do with Peru issue? How is she related to this country at all? But it looks like there is no theme she couldn't be pushed into... Okay we all get that Moss is the biggest model of all times and no one will be able to top her records but that should really encourage her to take a break and let us breathe a bit of fresh air. I am sorry but playing safe and lazy by using cliche models just makes me sick, tired and bored of fashion magazines.
P.S. I won't even bother listing possible alternatives as there are too many!!! To be honest, I find this discussion as tiring as seeing her but I can totally understand the frustration expressed by TFS members...

Maybe those girls are talented, but it's not enought. You have to work really hard, know how to to present yourself. Kate has it all. It's simply why they choose her. She is 39 and she still get a lot of cover. Kate is one of the best !

u have got to be kidding me

I also don't have a problem with Kate but I think everyone is just over her n VP covers.
the mag really need to choose more models. I got even tired of seeing Natasha(who I adore) every month in 1,2 or even 3 editorial in a single issue.
they are soo closed mind, there are really a lot of models working, yet they only used like 10 models all yr around. SMH

Naw, if that were true then Naomi would have had many more covers in the last 5 years. Kate's way past over exposed. I've become so disillusioned with Kate Moss over the last two years. Now its just starting to get ridiculous and everyone sees it.

I pray that they at least do something interesting with her!

My only problem with Kate's over exposure is that they use her as a celebrity that sells well. Also, the problem is that most of her photos are like ''I'm Kate Moss and I'm just standing here''
