DUJOUR Magazine #2, March/April 09: Dioni Tabbers by Denise Boomkens

hey guys, here is a new fashion magazine that launched last summer, but relaunched this winter with a new look and website. they blend a commercial feel with interview-driven content that is typical of indie mags..the editorials wont be super lavish as of yet as it's a total indie production by two people, but definitely a magazine to keep your eye on. the relaunch will have the mag printed in a more book-like style with a thicker cover, etc. copies are sold on the website and in select boutiques, but buying from the site is much better, as they ship everywhere. people are always asking where to buy mags on these threads, so it's refreshing to see it available straight from the source!

i hear there is a limited edition collectible art cover of Jordan Dun and a video featuring all the spreads like Self Service does.... will find out soon.

sorry guys, the cover is Dioni Tabbers (which I spelled wrong in the title), I meant that they are releasing a limited edition art cover and it will either be Erin Wasson or Jordan Dunn I think...and sedirea you probably saw that image on the Internet because it got leaked about a month ago, but its never been in/on another magazine. here are some previews of the eds, more to come!

I would expect to love the Frida spread.. but I don't. The the colors are beautiful the overall product falls flat for me. One exception maybe is the close up with the orange flowers. That would is very pretty.

Dioni is beautiful and that photo is beautiful, but its SO photoshopped to the point where its almost distracting.
