Oh gosh these are so fan! I used to spend hours making my own fashion collages for inspiration.

Thank you for the scans Mimiko!

italian flair does something like this at the back of the book as well...

i don't really like it ...
the pics are too small..you can't see anything ...
and i don't like the messy layout...
i prefer something clean and graphic...
the whole 'papparazzi' vibe doesn't do it for me...
it gives me a headache trying to organise the things in my mind...
so i usually don't bother and just skip the pages..

Yeah ... I totally understand what you mean. I like them because I like the texture and color from a design standpoint. That's why I'd love to use them as wallpaper. But I don't spend time actually reading these kinds of pages either ... to much clutter for the mind.

I wish I could read actually I don't read them ,I only look at the pictures cos I don't speak French Sometimes I buy Vogue Paris cos it's unbelievably cheap ( us vogue is rubbish ,I like uk vogue but it's not cheap ,and the italian one is expensive)

I always love these layouts - they appeal to my convoluted head. I always cut them up, cannibalise them and use them to make intricate collages of my own.

And that's exactly how it should be. I have never seen a fashion/design/art student who's scarpbook/lookbook/mood board doesn't look this fantastically haphazard as En Vogue spreads...because they are meant to inspire- not horribly cold and rigid but fresh and liberated with images and items literally leaping off the page to catch your eye and sear itself on the brain. This is creativity - it's the birth of an idea / editorial!

I may sound crazy but to me if you truly love fashion, you will love En Vogue.
