^Well said Shelton123! I agree, and I have a problem with the
judgement or idea that sexiness and intelligence are mutually exclusive.
A women should be allowed to "pose in a thong", be demure, funny,
aggressive, bored, powerful, "slutty" etc...Whatever
Love Beyonce or hate her, it's comments like snickerdoodles which are regressive in my opinion.
For me, Saskia de Brauw is one of those models that either excels or totally flops in print. This is one of those time where she excels. The entire editorial is stunning, I love the mix of McLellan's colour and black and white images. The shot of Saskia wearing the full-length Ralph Lauren dress is almost iconic. I think that word is overused but I cannot think of another word that fits. Thanks ever so much for the HQ's, Mat Cyruss.
I'm so glad this issue appears to be Terry Richardson-free. (Susan Sarandon is photographed by Juergen Teller.) He is neither gentle nor woman-friendly. Good riddance.

I second that. I hope not to see his photos in the Gentlewoman later on.

I love smaller magazines like The Gentlewoman. They often produce great content, and this time is not an exception.
I'm such a sucker for editorials like Iselin's The Dior scarf shot is so stunning!
