I like the last one- it has the most personality..and that is lacking in fashion imagery nowadays.

I agree. I don't really like to see violence against women glamorized, even if it wasn't their intention.

Same here. I think this cover is really unsettling and glamorizing violence is incredibly awful. Unfortunately, it's all to common in fashion magazines. Which I don't really understand, I mean, why would you want to depict a women who's been harmed, such as seen in this image, it's just not appropriate. Especially when you look at the numbers of women who are victims of such violence, it's astounding. I think an editorial can be dark and interesting without having to resort to a violent depiction.

that first cover not only is gratuitously provoking and degrading but also visually ugly. It isn't even art. It has nothing going for it.
Whereas Charlotte has a lot of punch to it. Colours, and I like the fact she assumes that she is now older and still want her ciggie and says basically to the world that this is how she is, take it or leave it.
I will take it. thank you.

the first cover is by Nobuyoshi Araki, he is infamous for his beautiful work featuring female sexuality and japanese rope bondage Kinbaku. I really love his work.
