Harper's Bazaar Australia December 2009 : Miranda Kerr by Simon Lekias

Title: Miranda
Photography: Simon Lekias
Story: Rachel Sharp
Styling: Mark Vassallo
Scanned by sockeater

Beside the unnecessary photo shop on the cover, I quite like it.
But that ed... *lost for words*

I would like her as well if she looked like this more often. The cover is gorgeous and the styling on Miranda is perfect. The layout is a massive step up from the November issue. Thanks for posting kito09!

The cover is really good but this might be the subscribers', no ?

The editorial is very pretty.

Thanks for posting

Why there's not written month, price, year on the cover? Maybe it's inside-cover which is usually at the beginning of the ed..

I'm not to sure if Australian Bazaar distributes subscribers covers, but it certainly looks like a one. You can tell from the scan down the right side, there is a white gap, which means its a cover.

At first glance I really didn't like the cover, but now I do. There's something kind of off about it, which is why I like it. I like her unfocused eyes; and that very bold, sort of heart-shaped face of hers. The styling is kind of stupid and it's not the perfect shot, but I like that. It's more interesting opposed to many Harper's Bazaar UK's such thought-out overly glamorous emotionless cover shots, in my opinion.

The necklace saves the cover for me. her editorial looks nice in theory but I wish they had focused on more jewelry, it's the only way.. Miranda will always be that random Blugirl girl to me, can't help it, focusing on her kind of kills the story.

thanks for posting, kito.
