I don't know if I would say Freja's ed. was awful but although one of her main appeal is her androgyny, but in this ed. she actually looks like a boy and that's even on the one's where she is topless.

LMAO Freja's is one of the worst interviews I've EVER read, the interviewer/photographer wants to talk more about himself than learn anything about Freja, my favourite part is "now ask me a question". What a freak.

I really don't like Freja's editorial either, I don't think she looks especially good (she looks down right out of it in the last shot), it's just boring more than anything. It's not like Freja's the only model with tattoo's.
I can't decide if she comes across as really genuine in the interview or just abit pretentious.
Anne & Boyd look great together, and like you said they look so into each other - as if they're together in real life.

Anne and Boyd have great chemistry..... none of the shots look forced. And I like how the cover is playful, but the ed is more intimate.

I have to go against the grain and say that I love Freja's editorial. It's very i-D. It isn't cotoure italian vogue, and not supposed to be. It's the intimate, abit moody, very private view when the models don't do the VOGUE, STRIKE A POSE (got nothing against it, but that has never been what i-D was about). For me, this is one of the best editorials I've seen in a long time, and the "apathy" just adds to the 'realism' of the shots.
