These new covers are complete useless. They had to over saturate the beautiful Chinese covers with these lackluster ones. Would have been a bolder statement if they excluded these.

Oh they definitely added these other covers for commercial value. It's a shame really because I think it would be a stronger issue if they only had the covers with the asian models. Although, I have to wonder, how much are they really making a profit from? Like how many people buy/subscribe to i-D? I know a lot of us at TFS read i-D but to me it's always seemed like a niche magazine. And as a niche magazine they could afford to take risks, like having covers like the other 12 photographs. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

There isn't one single cover from them all that i dont like, and such cool variety of people, and photographer's. But will defo get one of the covers with the Asian models, they are so striking, i just want to frame them.

I love all the Chinese cover especially the Zhang Li Na(張麗娜)'s one.

One of the things I don't understand is, why they still want to publish the other five cover? I'm a Chinese too, and I feel like they publish another five covers because "If you don't like Asian or Chinese,you still have another choices!" For me it's......weird.
