Definitely not feeling the cover... I had such high expectations. Bad angle and the bang looks just lopsided and unusual. She's not channeling one of her best looks here. Not sexy in the least bit, just cocky and self-righteous. i find it weird since she usually has so much more spunk and marketable sass. Looks like a much worse version of Mary Kate Olsen by McDean for Interview.

The preview of the editorial looks much better.

My thought, exactly, it's very Klein-esque. The angle of the shot quite bugs me, Megan's jaw looks incredibly massive, but besides this, the covershot as a whole is fairly good. I actually like the fact Megan is so metamorphosed.

I came into this thread to comment on how she has become inescapable, but I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. It's average by basic standards, but definitely a big hit in terms of Megan's magazine cover history... especially compared to that ghastly Allure.

i actually like this alot...but i also liked her story in W...
i get a bit tired of when magazines want to portray her a bombshell...i like to see her experiment and she is more suited to the soft dominatrix look more so than some other actresses i've seen trying to pull this off...

I really like the cover. The ed is a departure from Megan's typical sex bomb eds - most of which I kinda liked, still kudos to her for changing things up. On the other hand, this type of ed has been done quite often by both models and celebs, so it is difficult for me personally to muster up any enthusiasm on that front. It is not a bad ed per se, it is just not my cup of tea.

The editorial has some really interesting elements, but as a whole it looks just stupid. Not sure exactly why, but it doesn't feel as impressive as I would think it'd be. The better pictures are the first and last shot, with her flawless profile. I'd like to see more talent and though put into the concept, because with so much focus on the styling, hair and make up the concept just falls flat and becomes a gimmick. McDean has done much better... Megan serves it, though.
