Pretty. Not pedophilia per se, but it's hard to deny that there is a Lolita/Baby Doll aesthetic going on here although not entirely so, because there are some edits that I have seen which also goes for etherealism and dream-like scenes. I do not necessarily find Lolita-esque influences bad, after all this is art, and the Lolita angle is but one of the aspects that they cover. Although I just wonder how many issues can this last before they run out of ideas? How many different ways can you actually put together and photograph a fairies and little dreamy girl edit?

Does Lula actually have articles? Or is it purely edits and pictures?

Who do you style?

I have my own magazine called Lula and I style Keira Knightley, among others.
What are you wearing today? A Topshop dress I bought before Christmas when I went back to Canada, where I'm from. A Phillip Lim jacket that I ordered from the show last season and shoes by Maloles, which were a gift from the label. Tilda's collar is from Mulberry. It's the first day she has worn it.

I love the cover actually. The angle in particular really captures the feeling that she's a naughty child looking up to whoever's giving out to her.

To call it paedophilic is misplaced I think. Their many and not-so-varied whimsical references to youth and innocence aren't for everyone, but what they do, they do well. It is only every six months that they call on you to relive your girlhood... and I don't think men with less than good intentions are at all interested in it as portrayed here. Far too sweetness and light..
