L'Uomo Vogue January 2007 : Lapo Elkann by Mark Seliger
from www.yohan.co.jp

from wikipedia:
"Lapo Elkann (October 2, 1978) is a New York-born Italian industrialist, former marketing manager and heir to the automaker Fiat. He notoriously survived a nearly fatal drug overdose that put him in a coma on October 10, 2005 in Turin, Italy, while in the company of a group of older transsexuals.[!

I just got it this morning. Its quite an interesting issue. I enjoy Lapo's spread its nice and long but I'm biased since I am quite possibly in love with Lapo and his myth. I love most if not all of their other choices for style as well. Lots of unique people; artists, business men/women, actors and actress but not the overexposed "celeb" sort and some other people who are just notable. Very eclectic list. The cover is a fold out as well which is nice.

I left my copy at work but I can scan it tomorrow if no one else does.

^ Sorry this took me forever and a day. Mea culpa. I don't have the Dec. Issue but I'll check my back issues source and see if they have a copy. If they do I can scan that too. Thats the one with the Horrors yes?

Here is Lapo! If anyone can translate the article I'll love them forever and ever

They put him in a lot of different styles/outfits but he really looks best in a suit.

Since Anna Dello Russo left, Franca Sozzani converted LíUomo Vogue into a new kind of Vanity Fair, where celebrities and artists play the role of the new models, bringing back to the magazine the old guard of photographers, Michel Comte, Sante DíOrazio and Mark Seliger.
My opinion? I donít like the new formula!

Franca, please bring back Aldo Premoli and Steven Meisel to LíUomo Vogue!!!

How many pages does this issue have? More than 400 pages?! Seems to a big one. Maybe I should get it. By the way, I don't buy L'Uomo Vogue regularly. Does anyone know the issues of which months usually have the best content and maybe also the most pages? Thanks!
