I like Zac's cover, but Details is so homoerotic it's rather amusing. Do they believe a cover like that is going to speak to straight men? I can never really decide on Details' intentions!
I think they're aiming to appease the gay populous but not go off the deep end and alienate straight men. I also get the feeling that they want women to buy the magazine, and I know a few who subscribe. I think they're just trying to appeal to a broader range of readers then, say, GQ, which seems to be aimed squarely at business men (doesn't stop me from reading it, though!)
