i agree, they are bad. also what does age have to do with it? someone is better because they are younger? also conde naste is bying them as we speak so they are just going to become part of the machine.

my thought was much more linked to the fact evryone wanted M&M ... and I was happy with the covers and the fact they've chosen someone less established .... but in the end M&M or anyone else, i don't mind ... til i like them ...

^^Berlin i agree with what you wrote, dont think M&M could have done a better job at all, in fact i think some of their POP covers were awful.And yes they are signed with CN now, so i doubt they will be working with the mag anymore.Which imo is fantastic because other photographer's get their turn.

^^There was an article posted somehwere on TFS, i am so sorry but my memory is awful,dont remember where. It was from wwd and they said M&M signed a contract with CN at the end of 2007, hence more and more work and covers they have been shooting for W,Vogue Paris.etc

Oh i see but M&M have been shooting consistently for W, frankly speaking after they signed with CN, the work for CN's magazines doesnt really increase tho. They still shoots for W occasionally and this year one time for Paris Vogue. And even though they signed with CN it doesn't mean they won't shoot for POP again. I hope.

I believe that is what Jadabelle is saying too, if this is true, POP would be a wonderful addition to the conde nast stable, Katie Grand has done an amazing job with POP magazine, lets remember this is one of the first magazines that featured M&M, only makes sense that they move on and we start to see new talent coming thru, Sebastein Faena, Allasdair McLellan...

Reference the covers, i think they are all great, its wonderful to see such a diverse selection of girls, my fav's are Natalia, Jourdan and Amber.

o.k. lets make this easy. cn is rumored to be buying pop. mm have a small contract
with french vogue only not worldwide.w gives no contracts because they have no money, in the end most photographers pay themselves. thats it.
