Oh so its just a rumor? your first post mentioned they CN were buying as we speak and it would become a machine. why do you think that?

I love that Oluchi is in this. LOVE. She is the surprise of the month and she deserves this so much. Agyness and Jourdan's covers are my personal favorites but every single cover is good.

If Conde buys Pop then they should at the very least allow for Mert and Marcus to shoot for Pop as well as for W and Vogue Paris. I loved their work for Pop so much and I can't help but miss them at the helm.

Yup, I agree with Luxx. POP was like a playground for Mert and Marcus, they had endless of creativity in their work for POP.

I wonder if CN buys POP if Katie Grand will leave Harpers Bazaar.

I don't think CN will buy POP. Where did you guys read from? POP is under EMAP, a very big and established publisher in UK.

POP is no longer with EMAP. EMAP consumer magazines and radio was sold to German Magazine company BAUER VERLAG, last December.

Pedro you are correct,

i don't believe POP is for sale, Bauer normally buy magazines not sell them, If Conde Nast wanted to buy POP Katie Grand should be very flatterted, POP was her vision, her baby. She launched an amazing creative outlet using friends and emerging talents.

is katie still styling for Bazaar?

this whole flying nun...hassidic jew...etc ...religious headgear thing...
is so tired though..

it's appropriate that it is for the 80's issue i guess...
cause that is when the religious symbolism was really being challenged in fashion by the likes of madonna and gaultier...
but still...
it's is 08...not 80...
can we please move forward already people...
>??!?!?.....

Fashion revisits history all the time, though. I like these; they're representing a time when religious symbolism was very present as you said, but they still feel fresh and modern.

funny 08 turns into 80's. I hope this does not mean 09 turns into 90's and then ill just die if i see more of Linda, Omi and Christy. Although a little Yasmin would not hurt!

i love every single cover! They all look great...and THREE black models! how you like those apples?

Oluchi has always been one of my favorite black models, she's always been sooooo underrated so it's a pleasant suprise for me! and also always great to see Naomi, duh! Jourdan's on a ball Agyness's cover is almost the best i think, simply because she looks so hot as a nun Natalia is always gorgeous so nothing else needs to be said.. I almost though Amber's shot was Romina Lanaro..now that would have been awesome

love them ALL though!
