She's actually in middle school. That's a fairly big difference. Pretty sure she's starting seventh grade. And she's 13 now, FYI everybody.

Yep, going into 8th grade.

I'm glad she got the cover. I'd rather see somebody who is genuinely creative and passionate about fashion than a generic actress.

Oh, and she's wearing a Norwegian Wood ruffled cage skirt! Love it.

Seriously? I don't give a d*** weather she's in elementary school, middle school, or high school. I'm sick of her and that blog. It's not even that great.

However I do kind of like this cover, much better than Love. Might pick this up, but I'm interested in the contents... hopefully the casting is better than the cover.

Hell no. She's a fashion blogger.

edithandbob: Agreed. Actresses get fashion taught to them. Girls like Tavi learn it all themselves and develop their own unique style without any stylists and famous designers shoving clothes down their throats.

And KateIsGr8 ... come on. At that age, a year and a grade makes a pretty damn big difference.

I don't follow her blog but it seems to me that one of the main reasons why she is so 'famous' is because she is 12/13. She looks like a little kid dressing up in her mothers clothes and if she were in her late teens or even early twenties, I don't think people as many people would fawn over her for her style. Pop used to be a great magazine and it's a shame that they've surrendered themselves to something I would expect Nylon, Jalouse or something similar would do.

My latest twitter: Gross, Tavi on the cover of Pop. What's next? My dog on the cover of Vogue Paris? So disappointing.
