I've grown to love Lindsay, speaking as though we've been partners in an arranged marriage all along, and I've finally grown to accept that she leaves cigarette butts in the sink, neglects the laundry and comes home most nights with vodka on the breath, sneaking into bed with nary a pungent good-night kiss. I've become more than tolerant: It's become endearing. And if her "vacation" in Utah renders her unrecognizable by the above, we'll always have that beautiful face and physique for reference.

Alright, I've officially lost it, I'll admit... They're nice covers anyway, both the official and the mock-up, but the color accents of the former remind me of high-school senior photos. (Are these a tradition outside the United States?) It's a very common effect used...

That's the influence I get from it - M&M melded with Warhol - particularly because every morning I wait for a bus in front of an art gallery that's celebrating the current Warhol anniversary with a massive show of prints, with the Liz Taylor one to the forefront. I wonder if the blue eyshadow & strong black colours on the POP cover are a nod in that direction.
