can any of you regular buyers give me any good reasons to splurge.

is Purple in french or english?

Where do you normally buy this in the US? I only ever see it at American Apparel, and the sales associates told me they don't know when they would get it in.

Got an email from American Apparel (eu), they`ll have it for order next week. At a better price, I hope.

Amazon.com has the S/S 06 issue on sale at the moment at 25$, I strongly suggest anyone lacking that to order fast (2 left). (I got mine from them this spring...)

Purple is generally a dual language mag. most times,they'll have an article in french with english translation. at least that's the way it was in the former years. i still believe that's what they do.

and even still,with credits and such in french,one still knows what it means.

I'm planning on scanning it if anyone is interested (but just the important eds, as in the ones featuring the new generation of socialites, the one with Malgosia Bela,the one with Daphne Guinness and the Lou Doillon one, which makes it a total of 35/40 p to scan, go me.Hopefully, I'll finish by tomorrow night).

The issue is by far more promising by the title than in reality.Really, it's my dream cast, from Mario Sorrenti to Anastasia Barbieri to Bambou, Lou Doillon, Theo Richards, Daphne Guinenss,Daisy Lowe etc...But they could have done so much better, I don't know if anyone feels the same, but while the cast,photography and concepts are strong this season on magazines, style-wise it's really poor, I get the impression that most fashion editors weren't really inspired by the clothes this season.I'm a little disappointed to be frank.
