That Comme Des Garcons dress is a work of art. For me, the Numero version is the best styled, but the Vogue Italia version has a very fitting scenery and theme to go with the piece.

and the Carine R. spread was a shooting they did for the first issue of Vogue China (Vogue Paris supports Vogue China) and so it was printed first in Vogue Paris... I really like how in both first picture (Vogue it. and Numéro) they made the CDG outfit looks very dramatic... in a different way... |

Those trousers are atrocious.
Out of the three, I find the last looks best due to the washed-out appearance of the photograph and minimal styling. The Numero version looks a bit off, almost as if Caroline looks uncomfortable in that pose. And, of course, the US Vogue version lacks any excitement. ![]()

Boucheron Feather Necklace
1. Stylist: Katie Mossman | Magazine: W Jewelry | Photographer: Horst Diekgerdes | Model: Irina Lazareanu | Hair: Neil Moody 2. Stylist: Kyoko Osawa| Magazine: Vogue Nippon | Photographer:Rose-Marie Swift Luciana Val & Franco Musso | Model: Lisa Cant | Hair: Ed Moelands | Makeup: Shannon Dowsett ![]() This necklace is just stunning - you can't help but look at it and it really stands out as part of both outfits even though they're both completely different. On the whole I feel the necklace stands out more in the Mossman styled image because its completely unexpected. You have this simple jacket , a sequined swimsuit and then a huge uber-glam necklace - its really an almost absurd combination but it works. In the Osawa styled edit everything is much more refined so the necklace fits in more but its less somehow less exciting for me. That said its still beautiful and you get to see the matching earrings which is always plus. Image Credit | Fashist, Fashion Gallery & Bwgreyscale

YSL F/W 06 Gold Tunic
1. Stylist: Hector Castro | Magazine: Vogue Russia November 06 | Photographer: Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello | Model: Mariya Markina 2. Stylist: ??? | Magazine: Vogue ESP December 06 | Photographer: Nico | Model: Marina Perez 3. Stylist: ??? | Magazine: 10 F/W | Photographer: Satoshi Saikusa | Model: Leah De Warvin 4. Stylist: Michèle Beaurenaut | Magazine: Elle France | Photographer: Jean Baptiste Mondino | Model: Doutzen Krous | Hair: Jonathan Connelly | Makeup: Tracey Grey 5. Stylist: Emmanuelle Alt | Magazine: Vogue Paris August 06 | Photographer: Mario Sorrenti | Model: Eva Herzigova ![]() This is just a great piece. It was impressive from the moment Mariacarla walked down the runway in it. So impressive in fact that I think alot of the stylists just left it alone - all well and good given that it stands out all by itself but I think that the Vogue Rus edit gets the look right with the additiion of that chubby fur. Its a simple addition but it takes things into the next level with regards to luxury. The addition of the gold hose is a bit 80s for my tastes but its an interesting and creative choice. ^I couldn't have said it any better myself
To me Sorrenti/Eva pulls off the look best, since they create such a captivating scene with the dress as the obvious star (Metallic pieces always shine even brighter in Sorrenti and Roversi photography). On the other hand, Doutzen's expression is quite unfortunate -- it diverts all attention from the dress to her face...
