Such a beautiful piece. I think there is something very pure about the way it is featured on Sasha - I like how her war paint makeup and unkempt hair contrast with the frivolity of the dress itself. For sheer beauty I love the dress on Stam in the Phelan styled edit but I can't help but notice that its been left undone in the back. Which I suppose was a purposeful choice given the dressing room scenario of the image itself but just looks odd to me. The overall bridal connotation is nice though given that this would make for an excellent wedding dress for a well-to-do bride. The hair in the Coddington styled edit ruins the entire presentation for me but I think I've complained about that dreadful wig so many times now that it goes without saying.

Kate Phelan's bridal-like styling of the dress is actually the least intriguing for me...
the bridal look actually makes it a turn-off for me, and the undone back of the dress doesn't work for me..

i keep going back and forth between the Enniful's and Coddington's styling of the dress..
I think in the end that Enniful wins for me.. (it helps that Roversi was the photographer I think)

Raquel's hair doesn't bother me too much..
it's oddness sort of fits with the era of the furniture in the aspect that it's from a different sort of world.. if that makes sense..
almost like she's a doll in an overly-guilded doll house..

i kind of like sasha's bewildered look, limp arms and wild hair and makeup...
it contrasts nicely with the sweetness and delicacy of the dress.
