I wasn't too pleased to see her name, but the covers are stunning.
The eds are pretty good too

Comments like this always crop up and i really dislike it when people refer to her past style mistakes, the cover is her best to date regardless and i think it will appeal to a wide range of people, love or hate her, this issue will sell.

Both Elle and Vogue have gone for mass market cover stars for their February issues, anticipating a hard month for sales... makes me wonder who we're going to get for March.

It doesn't bother me that the cover features a girl who's come from a council estate, having made the most of the opportunities that have come her way - to me, she's someone who's combined her looks with a talent for hard work (if nothing else) and she makes a change from yet another offspring-of-the-famous who's coasted into a magazine feature by virtue of their surname.

Past?! I think the amazing orange woman, the fantastically tacky hair extensions, and those acrylic nails are very much still her style. What's not to love about this french maid outfit. Not much changed from those lottery days.
Still a chav to me.
The reason why Elle chooses her as their cover story is exactly the same why the Sun and Heat do it, doesn't mean that everyone has to swallow it.

Those images are purely irrelevant, they are years old (even the X Factor image), now if you look at a picture like this from 3 weeks ago you'll see her style is more refined, need i say more ?

Just because Cheryl has made the odd fashion faux pas, and she made a few on the recent series of X Factor, although the pic above proves she can look great, doesn't mean she shouldn't be on the cover of ANY magazine, whether it be Heat or Elle/Vogue. She is a beautiful girl and looks great on the cover IMO, and there have been worse cover subjects on a selection of recent HF mags....although I suppose that is subjective. Personally I would much rather see Cheryl, than the likes of Pixie Geldof, Alice Dellal etc.
These folks have done nothing IMO to warrant any sort of cover, but they are deemed to be 'It' girls and although Cheryl might never be an 'It' girl, she looks a damn sight better than any of those muppets. Also people are actually interested in her.....like it or not.

She works hard, she's made the most of the opportunities given to her, she's beautiful, and she can photograph beautifully also.

Seriously, why is it anything concerning Cheryl has to come with the constant comments about her being a 'chav' or whatever.

Drop the bitch act. These comment's are so beyond redundant now.

The X factor image Old????? Is from this season's X factor!!!!

And the image prior to that one was just to show that nothing changed from the lottery days.

That image is from this season's X Factor, 30th of October 2010 to be precise. Or in October she was still allowed to be a chav and just became this amazing style icon according to the mags in the last two months?
To me she has no place anywhere fashion related, if such a pretty girl, with 2 stylists looks like that most of the times, i wonder how she would look if she was left to her own devices.
Well since October seems to have become years , this is what she was sporting in mid December for the X factor press conference.
