The issue is such a dud. The newsstand cover is just plain awful, the subscriber's cover is totally uneventful and the editorial is as plastic looking as the newsstand cover. Such a shame, there really was a time when Elle was becoming the most exciting of the British monthlies.

I get the feeling the pressure is on Elle UK to sell more copies so going mainstream (both with coverstars, coverlines, images, design etc) is the route they are going for.

awful styling...i am not a fan and this magazine is nowhere near as good as it used to be. their collections magazines are so much better.
