This is a typical Bazaar cover, but Marion is just gorgeous. Very simple and classy cover.

Marion really makes this cover great. Salma aside, I think Harper's Bazaar has been one of the more consistent UK magazines.

Marion looks very cool on the cover. I rather like the starkness of it, this sort of shot works well for the month it comes out in. And I'm thrilled to see the names of some really amazing ladies as "women of the year," from Jessica to Michelle, Harpers Bazaar has rounded up a great list of women to pay respect to.

A clean cover, but generally speaking, it seems like magazines have already moved on to the spring/summer season without making the most of the rich landscape that only autumn/winter fashion can offer.

This is the moment when we can really start to luxuriate in all the fabrics and layers, dressing for warmth and style, or with drama in mind - and then we get given a cover where all the life has been washed out of it.

Well, I don't mind it that much, but a shot like this would easily work any month of the year, so why waste December's cover on it, when it could be showcasing the absolute glamour of this time of year, an image that we know UK Bazaar would produce with excellence. For God's sake, it's going to be party season, so save the sanitised white backgrounds for the post-Christmas period.

Looks beautiful! I think this is the way a simple shot should be done.

But it seems that despite all the glamour in her life, there's nothing Marion Cotillard likes more than indulging in a few episodes of Absolutely Fabulous.
The actress has opened up about her love for all things British as she appears on the front of the December issue of the luxury fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar.

She smoulders while dressed in Dior and jewellery by Tiffany & Co. in the issue dedicated to the winner of Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards.
The interview with the 37-year-old features images of her in luxurious gowns by Alexis Mabille, Marchesa and Armani Prive, while her her hair is worn sleeked back off her face.
Despite being from France, Marion reveals she is in love with British culture.
She says: 'I think of England as music with fashion. You mix rock ‘n’ roll with everything, from royalty to punk to the bourgeoisie.

'Music-wise, you’re the best. David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Radiohead, the Beatles....'
It's not just the music she loves though, she also admitted that her highlight of 2012 was the return of Absolutely Fabulous, saying: 'I'm a huge fan.'

The Inception star who has found huge success with her career has also found happiness in her private life.
She and her husband, French director, writer and actor Guillaume Canet became parents to a son, Marcel, 18-months-ago.
Speaking about becoming a mother, she said: 'Since having Marcel, every day of my life has been alight with him.'
She continued: 'One of the things I have learned recently is that I have the ability to be happy. I have found that in my family. And that is a new thing.
'And that hasn’t always been the case for me - so I know how lucky I am.'

With slicked back hair and smoky eyes, Cotillard models bespoke gowns from Giambattista Valli to Dior. It took the French star just minutes after greeting the team on the day – photographer Ben Hassett, stylist Julia von Boehm and make-up artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua – to slip naturally into the role of fashion muse.

But, while the Academy Award winner undoubtedly has had plenty of experience to draw from for the part – Cotillard is ambassador to the fashion house Dior and was the first to wear Raf Simons’ debut couture collection on the red carpet – she is just as at home in 'the unpretentious cream sloppy sweater (she doesn’t know or care who by) and brown fedora' she meets us in when interviewed the day after the shoot in LA’s Chateau Marmot.

With Bazaar writer Lorien Haynes, Cotillard discusses the emotional intensity asked of her to play her latest part in the critically acclaimed Rust and Bone (and Oscar rumours are already swirling), and the challenges of balancing a career as an A-list actor with her latest role as mother to 18-month-old Marcel and her relationship with actor and director Guillame Canet, Marcel’s father, which brings Cotillard to tears.
