I can see why they've gone for celebrities to help shift these thinner issues - and such lovely soft tones on the cover. If I was still a subscriber, I certainly wouldn't complain, but as someone who has to be convinced to spend four quid on it, I hope this has more remarkable content than last month's issue did.

when i saw the title of the thread, i was like, 'such a terrible choice, yet again'..
but surprisingly i like it.! this especially thanks to the lovely color scheme and the perfect layout. cheryl's pose looks a bit contrived though, and her expression is somewhat laughable, but her make-up and the hair make up for it, i guess. otherwise, i don't mind the shots she's got inside, and i hope besides those, the content is worthwile!

I imagine if they use this shot for the subscriber's cover, that without the text it's going to look even better. Although I'm hoping we get something brilliant using the second shot of her ed..

It's beautiful and feels extremely fresh. Must admit when I saw the behind-the-scenes video, I sighed with disappointment.
But after seeing the cover I'm overjoyed to see Cheryl, the cover is brilliant. Quite Vogue Paris, no? Assuming the subscribers cover is the same shot, but with less text. Don't really care for any of the shots from the edit.

I really can't believe that people are saying that they 'hate' her.
That's a strong word, and before the peanut gallery start on me......I don't think everyone should like her because I do, but 'hate'.......come on.

I just don't get why a 'model would have been a better choice to cheryl' ?
It's a great shot, she delivered. Job done. She'll sell the magazine more copies than a model would do, perhaps more than ANY model would. If it's a good cover, and a good shot, surely who's delivering that shot to us is secondary. |

I have no idea who Cheryl Cole is but I think that to use the word "hate" for her or anyone else, for that matter is just way too much. From what I've read on this thread she is not a model but the cover is extraordinarily beautiful, so I can't care less who she is, I just love the cover.
